Part one of the Friends and family shows are over!
We had a great time in Charleston and New Port Richey, we even drag a few old songs out and dusted them off for the occasion! if you hadn't noticed we announced a UK/european tour with good friends Zebrahead. Until then we have Miami coming up and Jacksonville, Florida coming up this weekend. Who 's can resist seeing us play at a comic convention? can anyone say a once in a lifetime occurence?

Summer's Here, Some are gone
Gainesville in the Summer is starting to hit full tilt and in a few days this town will be a ghost town, We have been playing some fly out shows but no tours so far this year, it feels good to take a break, miss us yet?
November 10th update!
******The Fest 8 in Gainesville came into town, drank the town dry, and then through a cinderblock through the window of a police car but while all that was happening Buddy's side band COFFEE PROJECT played a great set with a few sing alongs sandwiched between books on politics and organic gardening, best that I've seen them play.

Rog's REHASHER came out and played a blindingly fast fun set, with songs from the first record and the new one "high speed access to my brain"

LESS THAN JAKE came out with Buddy dressed as the Duff man from the Simpsons, Roger dressed as twenties gangster, Chris as Richard Gene Simmons, JR as his reoccuring roll as wasted and me- well I was the spoiler who didnt dress up but did bring the party favors of a few hundred LTJ cereal boxes, a few hundred toys, a large bottle of jager and a birthday cake for Rog. I think that gives me a free pass to not dress up? Right? Maybe.
The show was fun, slightly drunk, slightly messy, but it felt good to play Gainesville again and see about a million friends that came into town in other bands.
******If you missed out on our "from the side of the stage" tickets you should get on that when we head out on our next tour. I mean watching from the side of the stage at your local show, signed cd, tshirt and ticket into the show is pretty great I think, just saying. If you got the ticket then I'll see you soon. We just announced dates for our winter tour, and while we should be warm and near the beach in Florida, we will headed out around the United States ( and a few places in Canada too! ) to dodge the snow and ice with THE CASUALTIES, FISHBONE, CAGE, and THE SWELLERS. a large update folks!
Home. I think it’s the only good four letter word. If you’ve ever gone on a trip, long or short, there is nothing quite like coming home and going to sleep in your own bed. It is also bitter sweet every time I come home because that means another tour is in the history books. It also means that it’s only a matter of time until the next tour begins. With that said, we are gearing up to head over to Europe to start our summer festival run. This, along with the plethora of other news brings us to the LESS THAN JAKE UPDATE for AUGUST 10, 2008.
SHOUT IT LOUD 2:
We want to thank everyone that came out to the SHOUT IT LOUD 2 tour this summer. We had a lot of fun and want to thank GOLDFINGER, SUBURBAN LEGENDS (who are the best group of guys we have ever met. SUPPORT THIS BAND!!), BIG D AND THE KIDS TABLE, WESTBOUND TRAIN, MUSTARD PLUG and all the other bands, crew members and club staff’s we hung out with all summer. You guys helped make a great tour that much greater and we hope to see you all next summer!
